Resumo
The COVID-19 pandemic generated a global health crisis, with several consequences for human life and all countries' economy. The number of infected people in Brazil exceeded 30 million, followed by deaths exceeding 650 thousand people, until December 2021 (Covid-19..., 2022).The main response given by government authorities was social isolation and restraint for economic activities, maintaining only those considered essential.Social distancing, as noted, was essential for containing the spread of the Coronavirus and helped in the post-pandemic economic recovery, as presented by Bernardelli, Pereira and Brene (2023).In any case, in this process the economic slowdown between 2020 and 2021 was inevitable, whether in the local or international context (considering the 10 largest economies on the planet, listed in the International Monetary Fund's Annual Report), there was an average reduction of 5.05% in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) (Gross..., [2021]).
